| Drizzle and her friend Splash (not pictured - he visited Emerald Downs the previous evening) are plastic Breyer model horses. In Spring 2009 I took a couple of photography classes, and one of them involved assignments to photograph particular types of situations. I had trouble figuring out where to find those situations. I came up with the idea of finding an almost-suitable situation and using a model horse to meet the rest of the requirements. In the end, I found other solutions for the photography class. However, the idea of taking the model horses with me and finding a way to include them in the pictures I take during a day seemed amusing. I began doing that.
